We are the Hakes' that are mentioned in the July 24 journal. We drove up from Tennessee to surprise Bob (with help from Mrs. Graham). It turned out to be the type of place that he really loves, an historical village. Coshocton, OH is a great place to visit, and we would recommend it highly.
Mr. G looks great and is in great spirits. He, as he says, "gets distracted" by people along the way. That's what America is, is it's people. While we are a land of great natural (and un-natural beauty), the people of America are diverse and interesting. I hope that you students will get that message from this ride, and do your own exploring of all the positive potential in your own country. That is what makes the distance, humidity, and effort worth it to Bob.
Thanks for reminding us all.
